Serenity Seekers is all about serving the imprisoned, the incarcerated and their families. We serve those on the inside by leading Twelve Step Bible Studies from “Serenity: A Companion for Twelve Step Recovery.” Serenity Seekers has developed a unique curriculum for use inside. We provide Prison Ministry Training on the outside for those who want to join in our efforts. If opportunity provides and the way is cleared for us to work with the families of inmates, we do that as well. This year, one Monday Night Group adopted a family and was able to help with re-carpeting kids bedrooms and providing assistance for Christmas. We also provide support groups on the outside that help ease the pain, guilt, shame and embarrassment of having a family member locked up.
